The Son, The Spirit, and The Sacred

Author: Shawn Christopher Reeves

This book shows how the whole of Christian life is immersed in the activity of the Holy Spirit of God. In the first six chapters the reader will encounter the reality of Christ meeting us by means of the Holy Spirit and how it is that the Holy Spirit enlightens our minds, orders our moral conduct, directs our prayer, and transforms us into greater reflections of Christ by way of the interior life and the Scripture, the Church Fathers, the Councils and the mystics. The seventh chapter serves as a quick reference to the key citations used from these sources throughout the book, categorized by topic. The insights to be found herein are intended to lead the reader into a prayerful reflection on the blessings to be found in living out the scriptural admonition to always “walk by the Spirit.”
