Needless to say, the doubts and fears we have to face in life are very often legion. Some are childish figments of our imagination; others are all too real. All of them produce more than their fair share of anxiety and occasionally a near paralysis of will. That’s why we all need courage. Courage is that elusive quality of mind and spirit that enables us to face fear and uncertainty resolutely and with self-confidence. It is there at hand for the taking, but we must know where to look if we’re to find it. This book points us in the right direction. Chapters talk about looking for courage, dealing with the fear of people, confronting the fear of life, daring to dream, choosing to act and pursuing one’s special calling. Many times, it is in facing fear that we find courage.
